theiphoneproject is happy to bring you IPSWTool, an new application with an iLiberty+ style GUI that further extends the possibilities of the PwnageTool. With IPSWTool, you can easily package a custom IPSW with the payloads and options availible in iLiberty+! Options range from Installer.app and BSD Subsystem and/or to Cydia, to OpenSSH, and even a few recommended app packs! Thanks to the iPhone Dev-Team for bringing us Pwnage!
Here is a video demonstrating the process!

I noticed that there are only a few (3 checkboxes) that allow you to install Applications. Will iPSWTool allow you to install as many applications as you wish (provided that the partition for installation apps allows it)?
Also will iPSWTool over time allow for custom logos (like the retro logo, etc) or is this still difficult based on the kind of encryption behind these.
Great tool! Can’t wait until it’s released.
Looking sweet - can’t wait.
Here’s a workaround if you want to add some of your own applications to your custom IPSW file in the meantime - http://beaugiles.net/blog/2008/04/pwnage-adding-custom-applications-to-your-firmware/
