I have unlocked and jailbroken my iPhone 3g 3.0 but can not activate it can anyone help???
Hi, Use ultrasn0w to active your phone. It is done thru Cydia that being installed after jailbreaking.
I have used ultreasnow to dwnload cydia and it still wont take the tmobile sim card. What now? please help

Hey, i have an iPhone 2g with the 3.0 software, bought it back in July, and just last week started getting an issue with calls, no calls would come through, maybe 1 in 5 - would randomly get a text from my service provider saying uve gotten several missed calls from XXX number at this time.
I researched a bit over the net, and found that its truly an iphone issue, ( not with my service provider ) so i wanted to upgrade to 3.1 and unlock my iphone, is there a step by step guide to doing this ? im a complete nub when it comes to the iphone, so i literally mean a step by step guide.

Question: I just picked up a brand new 32 GB 3GS with the intention of using it on t-mobile (no ATT service in my area). I screwed up and let it upgrade to 3.1 when i wasn't looking. Did i screw up bigtime, or just a little bit? Is it worth it to/possible to downgrade the firmware? I vaguely understand the implications of this regarding the baseband.
Or is a jailbreak/unlock for a 3GS with 3.1 imminent?

Hope some one can help me.
I have been using my jailbroken 3g iphone with o.s 3.0 and ultrasn0w without a single problem.
A few days ago I went onto cydia and installed some updates that were automatically suggested to me via cydia.
Everything works… BUIT my WIFI is almost non functioning now… I need to be standing literally over the router antenna for a signal to be recognised… has any one else had this problem or know a solution???
